Why I Built This

This didn’t start with AI.

My path into The Human Layer came through more than three decades of operating businesses, finance, products, governance, music and immersive environments. The common question was not how to add more technology. It was what happens to the person inside the environment — and who remains responsible when the stakes are real.

Finance, transactions, operating responsibility and board service taught me that consequential decisions need clear authority, evidence and human accountability.

Perky · The Physical World

An idea has to survive contact with the real world.

I built Perky Superfood from a kitchen concept through U.S. manufacturing, supply chain, packaging, buyers and commercial distribution — including placements with NIKE, Intel, hospitals and universities.

One question became the center.
